New Port Richey was the place to be for the annual NIGHT IN THE TROPICS
street festival and concert, The Chillers drew a crowd of around 5000+
to a beautiful and very HOT night in down town New Port Richey! The
crowd was so huge that the City had us play an extra set because the
crowd was not ready to stop partying to the sounds of the CHILLERS!
At break time, "HURRICANE GORDON" and "NANBABE" of the Tampa Bay Parrot
Head Club sang a couple of favorites while the band tried to catch a
breath or fresh air. JASON WEBB and Gordon also did a duo at break.
Jason Webb had one of his best performances ever that night. Once in
a while, a musician is lucky enough to have a "spot on, dead nut perfect" show, and this one was one Jason can remember forever.

South Bend Indiana was the scene where the COLLEGE FOOTBALL HALL OF FAME induction celebration took place. The Chillers flew from Florida to Chicago, then drove to South Bend to provide a huge show for the Enshrinement Festival held at the main attraction in down town South Bend. This was a big honor for the Chillers to perfrom at such a party! South Bend is the home of Notre Dame also, and that was a way cool trip for the band.
The Homestead Florida annual 4th of July Chillers Concert and fireworks show was a very cool deal. The Chillers all loaded up in Orlando in a touring bus and drove from Orlando to Homestead as one huge show. The weather was a little scarey early in the day, and rained up until show time, but cleared in time for the concert and fireworks. Thanks go to the City of Homestead for Having us once again!
Looks like The Palm Harbor Parrot Party had a perfect day. The crowd was so large that nobody can guess accurately at how many thousand fans were on hand. (10,000? 15,000?) The show started with the "BEAUTIFUL REMNANTS", who are a top shelf blues/rock band and finished with the "CARIBBEAN CHILLERS", Florida's Premier Jimmy Buffett Tribute Band, led by Jason Webb. This show demonstrated to Florida that Jason has topped the chart with his ability to rock the state, just like the master himself, Jimmy Buffett, does. There were actually fans who came over to the TBPHC booth and asked if that was really Jimmy Buffett, and that they loved him so much. They did not know it was not Jimmy on stage!
Mark your calendars for Saturday June 9th, 2007, for the annual Palm Harbor
Parrot Party, in down town Palm Harbor Florida. Last year's show had an
estimated 10000-15000 fans. The feature act is the CARIBBEAN CHILLERS! The Chillers will
perform from 6-10 PM. There is a huge, all day long street festival with
great food and mechandise, and there will be lots of Tampa Bay Parrot Head Club members present, having the best time of their lives!
