What makes the Caribbean Chillers different
It’s really a combination of things that, properly executed, would make a big difference in any Band.
After performing Buffett’s music for the past 25 years, Jason has Jimmy’s mannerisms, vocal style, and connection with the audience down pretty good.
But, a lot more goes into getting it just right.
The decision was made a few years back to put together an authentic "Tribute Show" that includes just about everything you’ll see and hear at a real Buffett Concert.
Stilt Walkers and Dancers warm up the audience, Tee Shirts, and Beach Balls flying through the audience, and the next thing you know you’re singing Margaritaville, and waving your arms overhead with a bunch of other folks singing "Fins to the Left – Fins to the Right"!
It’s "fantasy-based reality", and it’s a PARTY, not only with a purpose, but designed to be authentic on purpose!
In addition to Dancers and Stilt Walkers, the Chillers show includes a 3pc Horn Section, a Steel Drummer, a Percussionist, Female Singers, and a guy playing Acoustic Guitar who is our version of Jimmy’s on stage sidekick, Mac McAnally.
And…….. on special occasions, you may see one or more of the Coral Reefer Band members performing with the Chillers when their schedules allow.
To top it all off, most of the performances are "in concert" format, complete with specialty dance numbers and encores, which only adds to the realism and keeps the audience "engaged" all night long.
When you can produce the "look", the "sound", the "excitement", and the "flavor" of the Act you’re trying to imitate mastered, it’s hard not to be considered "the most authentic" in the business.
