JASON WEBB & the CARIBBEAN CHILLERS began @ 2004 when JASON, who had been performing Solo in Florida since 1982, set out to form an “authentic” Tribute to Jimmy Buffett Show Band”.
The song, “5 O’clock Somewhere”, was a big hit and Buffett was seeing a resurgence in popularity; the timing was perfect.

Since that time, WITH THE HELP OF SOME VERY TALENTED MUSICIANS, and 2,500+ performances later, JASON WEBB & the CARIBBEAN CHILLERS have become well established as “Florida’s FAVORITE Tribute to Jimmy Buffett Show Band”.

What makes Jason Webb & the Caribbean Chillers DIFFERENT from other groups who play Buffett’s music is just that. Most of the other groups simply play the music, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Jimmy’s music is a LOT of FUN!

However, Jason has been playing Jimmy’s music for 44 years. People who have followed Jimmy and have seen him many times say, “Jason LOOKS “and SOUNDS like Jimmy, and even ACTS like Jimmy on stage. Many people have said,"I thought it WAS Jimmy Buffett until I got closer.”

JASON WEBB & the CARIBBEAN CHILLERS strives to re-create THE SIGHTS and SOUNDS of a JIMMY BUFFETT SHOW. They have captured the “essence “of what made Jimmy’s concerts so much FUN for so many people, for so many years.
